ASSOCIATES/VOLUNTEERS

WHAT IS AN ASSOCIATE?

An RNDM Associate is an individual who chooses to enter a formal process of becoming part of the RNDM community.  An Associate is a person who wants to share in the mission and charism of the congregation without becoming a member of the religious community.  Associates are male and female, old and young, single and married.

There are different styles and focuses of Associate programs based on the different countries.  Some Associates become actively involved in the mission of the Sisters by volunteering their services to share in their apostolate(s) at home or going to one of the mission countries where help is needed. ie. An Australian Associate spent 18 months working in Senegal in the health care field.  For others, being an Associate means prayer support and for others it means financial support of the works and missions.

Each country is responsible for the setting up and the formation involved in people entering their Associate Program.  If you are interested in becoming an Associate or finding out more info go to our Worldwide page and click on the country you would like to know more about.

WHAT IS A VOLUNTEER?

A volunteer is someone who actively joins in the works of one of our missions.  Each country has different needs and a variety of works.  Some areas of opportunity are: teachers in 1st Nations Schools, health care, orphanages, homes for the mentally and physically challenged, etc.  In order to find out more and who to contact go to the worldwide page and the country you are interested in.
